The course is primarily aimed at staff responsible for the maintenance, testing and fault finding that applies to point fittings. 

Terminal Objectives:

At the end of this course successful delegates will be able to: ? Follow procedures for operational and personal safety ? Correspond point lie and point position ? Understand the operation of stretcher bars, supplementary drives and supplementary detectors ? Undertake maintenance, adjustments, testing, fault identification and rectification of stretcher bars, supplementary drives, and supplementary detectors ? Record test results.

Pre-Requisite Training: Six months workplace experience of signalling maintenance, a good understanding of signalling failures and incidents, and completed training in Signal Maintenance Testing Core Skills.
