Railway Training Courses - PTS Training

It is the Sponsors responsibility to ensure candidates booked onto the course are eligible for the training they are to receive and in line with any relevant medical level or restriction that may apply, in accordance with NR/L2/OHS/00124 Competence Specific Fitness Medical Requirements.

Please be aware that candidates will be treated on a training event as if they are at work and they must comply with the relevant medical policy and bring their Sentinel Smartcard (if applicable) which will be swiped at the start of the course.

Must be enrolled and bring log in details for the Network Rail E-Learning System - If you log into the e-learning system, there's an option under the heading, Sponsor Links to Upload/Edit Users. A spreadsheet is provided named "Sponsor - Upload Learners Template" populate this spreadsheet and upload underneath. An email with log in details is then sent to the learner direct. If you have any further problems or questions on this, you can call Leo Learning on 08456 080 058.  Before course commencement, it is the responsibility for either the sponsor or candidate to log into the system to ensure that the username and password are working correctly [Please Note you do not need to complete the e-learning before attending the course]. 

Must be a minimum age of 16.

Must have sufficient command of English language as detailed in Network Rail Company Specification NR/S/CTM/021 (Competence & Training in Track Safety)

Must be computer literate and be familiar with internet acess.

Photo ID - For British Nationals - a current and valid recognised, branded form of identity token, used for accessing the RMI (Railway Maintained Infrastructure) such as a Sentinel Card, full driving licence, passport, biometric ID Card, resident permit as per Home Office guidance or 'ValIDate' card.  For Non-British Nationals - a current and valid passport is required.
